So I'm watching the Vikings game here, Sunday night versus the Bears and I have the pleasure of watching the game with John Madden as the color commentator. Madden is well renowned for his comments, stories and of course use of his telestrator. Well, he made a hilarious comment about a cornerback for the Chicago Bears, Charles Tillman regarding his tackling ability, more specifically about how he is able to strip the ball (to "strip" the ball means to cause the ball carrier to lose the ball and fumble it, for those non American-football fans out there). Here is what he said:
"Charles Tillman likes to strip the ball. He's a good stripper."
About 10 seconds and a sentence or two later, both Madden and his partner Al Michaels realize what Madden said and how it can be translated outside of football and had a good laugh. As Madden might say, "Boom! That was funny!"
